Weimar Triangle countries call for 'fair and sustainable peace' in South Caucasus
The foreign ministers of France, Germany and Poland met on Monday in the Paris suburb of La Celle-Saint-Cloud to announce a new form of cooperation within the framework of the Weimar Triangle created in 1991.
The joint statement issued by the foreign ministers of France, Germany and Poland also calls for a fair and sustainable peace in the South Caucasus.
"We call for a fair and sustainable peace in the South Caucasus and support the mediation efforts of the European Union and of the United States of America to facilitate dialogue between Armenia and Azerbaijan. We reiterate our support to the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of the states of the South Caucasus," reads the statement.
