Armenia's former economy minister reportedly summoned to NSS
Vahan Kerobyan, who stepped down as Armenia's economy minister on Wednesday, has today been summoned to the National Security Service (NSS), MediaHub reports, citing its sources.
"Sources tell MediaHub that former Armenian Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan is currently in the National Security Service,” the news website said.
The NSS neither confirmed nor denied the report in response to a MediaHub request to comment, urging the media to follow official statements.
Earlier reports suggested that Kerobyan’s resignation was linked to a corruption scandal involving the Ministry of Economy.
“Kerobyan could also face criminal charges,” MediaHub said.
