West seeks to destabilize South Caucasus, Russian official says
The West seeks to destabilize the situation in the South Caucasus and interfere with the Armenian-Azerbaijani settlement process, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev has said.
"We also see the Western countries’ desire to shake up the situation in the South Caucasus, as well as to meddle in the Armenian-Azerbaijani normalization, which has led to escalation of tensions in these regions," RIA Novosti quoted Patrushev as saying at a meeting of security council secretaries on Afghanistan in Bishkek on Friday.
