Tatoyan on fact-finding mission to Syunik
Former Armenian Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan, who currently runs the Tatoyan Foundation, is on a fact-finding mission to Armenia’s Syunik Province.
Tatoyan and his teammates on Friday visited the village of Nerkin Hand after the deadly Azerbaijani attack on Tuesday which left four Armenian soldiers killed and another wounded.
“The facts collected on the ground confirm that the Azerbaijani troops opened fire killing Armenian soldiers from the areas of Nerkin Hand seized by them,” the ex-ombudsman wrote on Facebook.
“Studies and meetings will take place during the visit, including with local residents who are deprived of their right to a safe and normal life. The findings will be summed up and presented at a later time,” he added.
