Armenian authorities have no official information on Azeri fitness trainer's detention in Russia
The Armenian Prosecutor General's Office lacks official information regarding the detention of Azerbaijani fitness trainer Kamil Zeynalli in Russia, the law-enforcement agency told Panorama.am on Wednesday.
In a video on social media, Zeynalli said he was apprehended at Moscow Domodedovo Airport at Armenia’s request on Wednesday morning.
Citing the local police, the trainer said Armenia had issued an International arrest warrant against him.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said the issue of Kamil Zeynalli’s detention was under the control of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Russia.
According to Telegram channels, Zeynalli is an Azerbaijani war criminal who beheaded a defenseless old man in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) in 2020.
