Synergy chief expresses gratitude to IT and business community for their unity
Ashot Hovanesian, the founder and CEO of Synergy International Systems, issued a statement on Saturday expressing gratitude to the IT and business community for their unity. His full statement is provided below.
"Dear compatriots and business community,
I am reaching out to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported my family and team during these challenging times. I want to give a special shoutout to my esteemed peers in the IT sector and the wider business community for their unwavering solidarity. I am also deeply appreciative of the compassionate individuals who, despite differing opinions, have boldly championed justice. This demonstration of unity is a powerful reminder of my commitment to serving our country and advancing the fields of IT and science.
I founded Synergy International Systems in 1997 in the U.S. and expanded its operations to Armenia in 1999, when investment in our homeland, especially in IT, was scarce. Synergy’s success has inspired many entrepreneurs from around the world to follow suit and invest in Armenia’s IT sector. This collective effort has significantly propelled the growth of Armenia’s IT sector, making it a priority for our country’s development.
Today, I and other industry leaders bear a profound responsibility to inspire and mentor the next generation of IT professionals. Our journey ahead involves persevering and thriving in Armenia despite facing temporary challenges, which I am confident will be overcome.
We at Synergy continue our large-scale projects and remain focused on harnessing IT for social impact. I will also actively participate in and support social initiatives, public discussions, and events, as I remain deeply committed to advancing our industry. Thank you for standing with us."
