France issues stamps to honor Charles Aznavour and Missak Manouchian
French Philaposte on Tuesday issued a special collection of four stamps to pay tribute to legendary French-Armenian singer Charles Aznavour and French Resistance hero Missak Manouchian, the Armenian Embassy in France reported.
The unveiling ceremony was attended by Armenia's Ambassador to France Hasmik Tolmajian, French Senate Vice President Pierre Ouzoulias, Brice Roquefeuil, Director for Continental Europe at the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Charles Aznavour's son Mischa, Missak Manouchian's grandniece Katia Guiragossian and others.
