Political analyst: Armenian deputy PM next in line to leave office
Political analyst Suren Surenyants has reacted to the resignation of Armenia’s Ambassadors-at-Large Edmon Marukyan.
"I talked about Edmon Marukyan's imminent resignation back in December. Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan is next in line (in the meantime former Armenian Economy Minister Vahan Kerobyan was placed under house arrest),” Surenyants posted on Facebook on Friday.
“Incidentally, Mher Grigoryan had better tender his resignation now rather than wait for the Nikol sect of pseudo-Westerners to "sell" the propaganda against him for being a pro-Russian figure to their new Western masters throughout April,” the analyst said.
