Armenia, Turkey agree to hold fresh normalization talks
Armenia and Turkey have decided to hold a new meeting on normalization of their relations, Ambassador Serdar Kilic, Turkey's special envoy for normalization talks with Armenia, told RIA Novosti on Saturday.
"There will be a meeting, we have made a decision. Its date and place are yet to be agreed upon," the diplomat said.
There are no diplomatic relations between Turkey and Armenia and their shared border has been closed since 1993 at Ankara's initiative.
The special representatives of the two countries held the first normalization talks in Moscow in January 2022. Three more meetings were held in Vienna.
