PSG boss confirms Kylian Mbappé's move to Real Madrid
Paris Saint-Germain boss Luis Enrique appears to have confirmed Kylian Mbappe will be leaving the club this summer, The Mirror reports.
Mbappe was the star of the show as PSG beat Real Sociedad 2-1 on Tuesday to book their place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. The 24-year-old scored a brace as PSG won the tie 4-1 on aggregate.
Mbappe looks set to join Real Madrid next summer after informing PSG that he plans to leave the club when his contract expires at the end of the season. As a result, Enrique left Mbappe on the bench for PSG's 3-1 win over Lille last month and has not played him for the full 90 minutes in any of the following three league games.
And when asked about the forward's recent game time after the win over Sociedad, Luis Enrique admitted Mbappe "won't be here in the near future".
The PSG boss said: "Kylian, I'm not just discovering him today.
"You already know my opinion on him: He's the best player in the world. He'll score 50 goals and provide 25 assists in any team with any coach and unfortunately he won't be here in the near future so we will have to test other teammates of his."
