Lawyer: Khachatur Sukiasyan's lawsuit against Vazgen Saghatelyan totally groundless
"I always envoy attending court hearings in civil lawsuits as a lawyer in Armenia, regardless of who is the presiding judge," defense lawyer Zaruhi Nakhshkaryan told reporters after a court hearing in the case Khachatur Sukiasyan v. Vazgen Saghatelyan on Thursday.
Referring to the court case, she claims that the lawsuit is completely groundless.
"I have outlined my objections in a paper of 16 pages. I find it difficult to present them in a few sentences now. As for evaluative judgments, everyone in a democratic society can use the right to express their opinion to the full extent, regardless of the wishes of some politicians," the lawyer said.
She revealed that Vazgen Saghatelyan had been sued for "offensive remarks" and "defamation".
