Ex-ombudsman: Aliyev regime forcing interviews with Artsakh leaders
Azerbaijan’s despotic regime is forcing the Artsakh leaders held in Baku to give interviews in yet another violation of international law, former Artsakh Ombudsman Artak Beglaryan warns.
"The Aliyev genocidal and dictatorial regime once again violates international law by not only abducting the Artsakh leadership but also blocking opportunities for their legal protection, and now forcing interviews with them," he posted on X on Monday.
"Using hostages for propaganda and humiliation purposes is also a crime," Beglaryan underscored.
His comments came after the Azerbaijani television channel AzTV on Sunday released a teaser of an interview with former Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan, who is currently held in Baku's prison.
