Political analyst reacts to reports of Yerevan Conservatory closure
Political analyst Stepan Danielyan has reacted to reports about the possible closure of Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory.
"In the 1990s, an opinion prevailed in Azerbaijan that they suffered a war defeat because Armenians have Khachaturian, Komitas and other prominent figures,” he posted on Facebook on Monday.
“Azerbaijan has now drawn conclusions, and I would not be surprised that in addition to demanding the recognition of Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan, they apparently demanded the restructuring of the Conservatory to prevent us from restoring it in the future. This could be taken as a joke, but everything can be expected from the current government,” he said.
