Opposition MP accuses authorities of planning unilateral concessions to Azerbaijan
Opposition MP Tigran Abrahamyan has accused Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s government of planning unilateral territorial concessions to Azerbaijan.
“The current leadership, that demanded the withdrawal of Azerbaijani troops from Armenian territories seized in 2021-2022 as a condition for peace talks two years ago, is now preparing the people for unilateral territorial concessions,” Abrahamyan, the secretary of the opposition Pativ Unem faction, posted on Facebook on Wednesday, referring to the premier's latest statements.
“While announcing a lack of progress in negotiations with Azerbaijan, they are paving the way for the handover of four villages to Baku at this point and the surrender of four other villages at a later time,” the deputy said, criticizing Pashinyan’s conciliatory policy.
