MP slams Armenian authorities for planning unilateral concessions to Azerbaijan
Opposition Pativ Unem faction MP Tigran Abrahamyan has blasted Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s teammates and supporters for clearing the way for the handover of four villages in Tavush Province to Azerbaijan.
“Immediately after Pashinyan hinted at the surrender of four villages at a news conference, government's propaganda machine began pushing the narrative that the four villages are not in the administrative territory of Tavush and should be ceded to Baku,” the lawmaker posted on Facebook on Thursday.
“After the occupation of Artsvashen, as well as a number of areas in Tavush, Gegharkunik, Vayots Dzor and Syunik Provinces, Azerbaijan claims it has restored historical justice in an effort to justify its aggression, while they [the Armenian leadership] are planning unilateral surrender of villages.
"A race of immorality has begun to legitimize Azerbaijan's demands and make unilateral concessions,” Abrahamyan stressed.
