Alen Simonyan's delegation leaves for Geneva
An Armenian delegation led by National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan has travelled to Geneva to participate in the 148th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) slated for March 22-27.
The delegation includes deputy parliament speaker Hakob Arshakyan, ruling Civil Contract faction MPs Hasmik Hakobyan, Tsovinar Vardanyan and Arsen Torosyan, and opposition Hayastan faction MP Levon Kocharyan.
During the visit, Simonyan is expected to address the IPU Assembly and hold working meetings with his colleagues.
