Opposition MP accuses Pashinyan's government of undermining national values
Opposition Pativ Unem faction MP Tigran Abrahamyan has accused Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his government of efforts to undermine the national system of values.
The MP visited the Komitas Pantheon in Yerevan on Monday to pay tribute to former Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan on his death anniversary.
In Abrahamyan’s words, Armenia’s main problems are more related to moral and national values.
"It’s no accident that the current Armenian authorities dealt the hardest blow precisely to the national system of values, Armenian statehood and relations within the society," the deputy said.
"The main struggle should be waged in Yerevan, in front of the government office and against Nikol Pashinyan, because from a tactical point of view, local actions may be somewhat successful, but in general, the struggle should be targeted,” he added.
The opposition MP held Pashinyan and his government responsible for security challenges facing Armenia and insisted on his ouster.
