Edmon Marukyan: About 10 Armenians left in Artsakh now being harassed
Only about 10 Armenians are left in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), who are now being harassed, says Armenia’s former Ambassador-at-Large Edmon Marukyan.
"This what we called is the face of the Azerbaijani regime, which we kept insisting, is not capable of ensuring the rights and security guarantees of Armenians of Nagorno-Karabagh. After Azerbaijan carried out the ethnic cleansing, out of 150,000 Armenians only about 10 are left in Nagorno-Karabakh, who are now being harassed," he posted on X on Tuesday.
"This is why we kept stating that this is a criminal regime and we still wonder how the International Community could believe Azerbaijan when they were saying: "they are our citizens and have all the rights and security under Azerbaijan’s Constitution to live peacefully with us". What do you think about this, Charles Michel?" Marukyan said, sharing a video which shows Azerbaijanis taunting an elderly Armenian man walking down the street in Stepanakert.
