Large number of police forces deployed near Armenian parliament
Armenian authorities have deployed a large number of police forces near the National Assembly building in central Yerevan to tighten security ahead of a protest planned by the political movement Together (Miasin).
More than 10 buses carried police officers, including special police forces, to the area adjacent to the parliament building, Pastinfo reported.
The protesters will be demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The Together movement earlier demanded that the parliamentary factions impeach the premier.
