Deputy PM: No final decision yet on start of border delimitation from Tavush
Armenia and Azerbaijan have not yet reached a final agreement to start the border delimitation process from Tavush Province, Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan says.
“Until there is a final decision on the delimitation sections, key security, social, welfare and legal matters, no final decision can be made on the launch of border delimitation negotiations,” Grigoryan told reporters on Tuesday, adding the issues are under discussion pending a final decision.
The deputy PM did not answer a question about whether Azerbaijan was ready to return any territory to Armenia, citing the lack of a final consensus between Yerevan and Baku.
"A decision to start the border delimitation from Tavush can be made if a consensus is reached on the other fundamental issues,” Grigoryan noted, adding Armenia and Azerbaijan still disagree on a number of issues.
