Pashinyan: Border delimitation in Tavush doesn't rule out new attack on Armenia
Armenia does not stand against the start of border delimitation in the area of four villages in Armenia’s Tavush Province and Azerbaijan's Gazakh district, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Wednesday.
“Does border delimitation in the area provide security guarantees for Armenia? No, but the refusal to address the issue would lead to a further increase in security challenges,” he said, addressing the parliament.
Pashinyan did not rule out the possibility of a new Azerbaijani attack on Armenia following border delimitation in Tavush.
“Meanwhile, the failure to do so would guarantee a new attack on Armenia’s sovereign territory and these negative guarantees must be neutralized first,” the PM stated.
