Armenian Defense Ministry names soldiers killed in road accident
The Armenian Defense Ministry identified the servicemen killed in a road accident on Friday.
Four Armenian soldiers were killed and 20 others injured when the military vehicle carrying them veered off the road and fell into a ravine. The Armenian Defense Ministry said the accident happened at around 3:25 p.m. local time.
The killed soldiers were identified as Areg Kerobyan, Slavik Vardanyan, David Hakobyan and Joseph Azolyan.
The Defense Ministry extended condolences to the servicemen’s families and friends.
“An investigation into the circumstances of the incident is underway,” it added.
