Stepantsminda-Larsi road closed to trucks
The Rescue Service has warned drivers about closed roads in Armenia on Friday afternoon.
In particular, the roads linking the Amberd high mountain meteorological station to Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari in Aragatsotn Province are closed.
Traffic has been suspended along the bridge near the village of Getapnya in Ararat Province due to a partial collapse.
According to the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center (CMC) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi highway connecting Armenia and Russia via Georgia is is closed to trucks.
