Protesters block Yerevan-Sevan highway
Fresh protests erupted in Armenia on Tuesday after the Interior Ministry announced the launch of border delimitation with Azerbaijan which would see the handover of four border villages to Baku.
Dozens of protesters blocked the Yerevan-Sevan highway on both sides, urging everyone to stand up for their villages.
"They are surrendering it all, don't you see? Don't make this a political issue and link the struggle to some individuals. We are Armenians, who have come out to fight for their homeland,” a protesting man said.
"The current leadership is only good at giving everything away,” another added.
“No one is afraid of war. How long are we going to live on our knees? They're giving everything away, including churches and graves. Will we stand up for them or not?" he added.
