USAID chief pays tribute to Armenian Genocide victims
USAID Administrator Samantha Power commemorated the Armenian Genocide victims on the 109th anniversary of the tragedy marked on Wednesday.
"Today, we mourn those killed during the Armenian Genocide and commit to telling their stories so they are never lost to history," she posted on X.
"I am inspired by the resiliency of the Armenian people and all they have built, but we can never forget. Honored to have paid my respects last year," Power said, sharing a photo of her visit to the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex in Yerevan.
