Armenian boxer beats rival from Azerbaijan to reach European C'ships finals
Armenian boxer Narek Manasyan has successfully made it to the finals of the EUBC European Boxing Championships 2024 in Belgrade, Serbia.
The athlete defeated Loren Alfonso of Azerbaijan in the 92kg semifinals on Thursday, the Boxing Federation of Armenia reported.
Armenia’s Baregham Harutyunyan also advanced to the European Championships finals for the first time in his career after beating Serbia's Rade Joksimovic 4-1. He is set to face Edmond Khudoian, a Russian boxer of Armenian descent, in the finals.
