A secretly filmed video of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's spouse, Anna Hakobyan, travelling from Yerevan to Gyumri by train has been circulating online. Hakobyan's behavior in the video surprised many users, with one of them writing, “No comment!”.
Anna Hakobyan headed to Gyumri on April 25. Before her visit, Gyumri residents blocked the Yerevan-Gyumri highway, protesting against Pashinyan's policies.
Earlier on April 24, Hakobyan was jeered by several dozen people when she visited the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex in Yerevan to commemorate the 109th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Upon seeing her, the people began chanting “Genocidal Nikol!”, “Nikol the Turk!” and “Nikol the traitor!”. Seven people were arrested following the incident.
