Kremlin: Moscow supports continued talks between Yerevan, Baku
Russia supports continued negotiations between Yerevan and Baku for the settlement of all outstanding issues, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
He declined to comment on reports about the involvement of contract servicemen in ongoing protests in Armenia’s Tavush Province on Friday.
“We would not like to comment on it. You know that we support further negotiations between Baku and Yerevan. We believe that they are necessary for general détente and the final settlement of all disputed issues that are on the agenda in order to reach the signing of a peace treaty as soon as possible,” RIA Novosti quoted Peskov as telling reporters on Saturday.
