Defense Ministry says no Azeri soldier spotted in Armenian border village
The Armenian Defense Ministry denies reports alleging that an Azerbaijani special forces soldier has been spotted in Kirants, a border village in Armenia’s Tavush Province.
“A video captioned “Kirants residents have spotted an Azerbaijani special forces soldier” has been circulating on social media. The Defense Ministry announces that the man in the video is a serviceman of Armenia’s special forces,” it said in a statement on Tuesday.
The ministry urged people to refrain from spreading fake news.
