Two protesters in Yerevan arrested for possessing cold weapons
Two middle aged men were arrested on suspicion of possessing cold weapons during demonstrations in Yerevan on Friday, the Investigative Committee reported.
Protests demanding a halt to the unilateral territorial concessions to Azerbaijan and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's resignations have been held in Yerevan for two days now.
The two protesters, aged 42 and 47, are residents of Yerevan who were formerly convicted.
Folding knives were seized from the men after they were taken to the central police station in Yerevan.
A criminal case has been launched into the incident under Article 334.1 of the Criminal Code.
The preliminary probe is underway.
