In pictures: Yerevan residents express support for marchers led by Archbishop Bagrat
Protesters led by Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan of the Tavush Diocese have reached the intersection of Amiryan Street and Mashtots Avenue in central Yerevan after marching to universities to urge students to boycott classes and join the protest movement against the Armenian government’s territorial concessions to Azerbaijan.
People approach Fr. Bagrat to get his blessing. Yerevan residents greet the cleric from their balconies and express support for the protest movement.
The march led by Archbishop Bagrat will reach Yerevan’s central Republic Square in a short while.
