Civil disobedience actions resume in Yerevan
Acts of civil disobedience resumed in Yerevan on Monday morning to push for Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s resignation.
Heeding a call from Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan of the Tavush Diocese, the leader of a civil disobedience movement against the Armenian government’s unilateral territorial concessions to Azerbaijan, protesters have blocked roads in different parts of Yerevan.
Yerevan's Myasnikyan Avenue, Malyan and Buzand Streets were closed with the use of garbage containers.
Demonstrators also blocked Teryan and Vardanyants Streets in the center of the Armenian capital.
Large police forces were deployed to central Yerevan.
