Dozens of protesters detained in Yerevan
Police officers detained dozens of people attempting to block streets in Yerevan on Monday morning.
The Interior Ministry reported that 88 protesters had been detained for defying police orders as of 10am.
Protests in Yerevan demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan over his decision to cede border areas to Azerbaijan entered a third day on Monday.
The Tavush for the Homeland movement led by Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan reached Yerevan on May 9, five days after marching from Kirants, a border village in Tavush Province, which was the epicenter of protests against the Armenian government's territorial concessions to Azerbaijan.
Archbishop Bagrat announced that the movement would push for a parliamentary vote of no confidence in Pashinyan backed by the opposition.
