The Tavush for the Homeland movement led by Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan held a third rally in Yerevan’s central Republic Square on Sunday.
Addressing thousands of supporters, Archbishop Bagrat insisted on Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s resignation. He said said that the protest movement sparked by the Armenian government’s unilateral territorial concessions to Azerbaijan was getting closer to a parliamentary no-confidence vote in Pashinyan and his government.
The senior cleric urged protesters to again block roads in and outside Yerevan on Monday morning.
