Large police forces deployed to central Yerevan ahead of rally
A large number of police forces has been deployed to central Yerevan, near the Armenian National Opera and Ballet Theater in the run-up to today's EBRD forum, where Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will also be present.
The Tavush for the Homeland movement has called for a rally in Liberty Square outside the Opera House to again voice opposition to Pashinyan's unilateral land handover to Azerbaijan.
Police have said that the movement of people and vehicles in the area will be restricted from 3pm to 8pm.
