Three detained at protest outside Armenian government
Three people were detained at a protest outside the Armenian government building in central Yerevan as of Thursday afternoon, the police told Panorama.am.
The government building was cordoned off by police officers in riot gear as protesters gathered outside it to press for a halt to the government’s unilateral territorial concessions to Azerbaijan and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's resignation, heeding a call from Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan of the Tavush Diocese.
Law enforcement authorities said that those detained had failed to comply with police orders.
