Archbishop Bagrat says discussed protest movement with Armenian religious leader
Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan says he met with Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II and other clerics on Thursday to discuss the protest movement against the Armenian government’s unilateral land surrender to Azerbaijan.
“We discussed the agenda of the movement and its further steps,” he told reporters on Friday.
Separately, Galstanyan said the Tavush for the Homeland movement could announce its prime ministerial candidate at Sunday's rally in Yerevan, but stated that "it is not the most important issue".
