Archbishop Bagrat says Pashinyan spending 'final days' in office
Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan has blasted Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan for repression against supporters of the Tavush for the Homeland movement, including former Artsakh mayors.
The movement led by Archbishop Bagrat opposes the Armenian government’s unilateral territorial concessions to Azerbaijan and seeks Pashinyan’s ouster.
Speaking to reporters on Saturday, the senor cleric stated that Pashinyan was spending his “last days” as prime minister.
“You are spending your final days in office,” he said, addressing the PM.
Galstanyan assured that Pashinyan “will be held accountable” for all illegalities.
“Armenia has no government, both legally and morally. This process has to stop,” the protest leader added.
