
Protests to resume in Yerevan on Wednesday
Demonstrations led by Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan will resume in Yerevan on Wednesday.
“We will be gathering at the courtyard of St. Anna Church at 8 a.m. tomorrow to carry out joint actions,” the senior cleric said, addressing supporters at Yerevan's Republic Square on May 28 marked as Republic Day in Armenia.
Members and supporters of the Tavush for the Homeland movement led by Archbishop Bagrat headed to the Sardarapat Memorial on Monday to spend the night there and celebrate the 106th anniversary of the first Armenian republic.
