Large police forces deployed outside Armenian Investigative Committee
Armenian police have ordered a massive deployment of forces outside the Investigative Committee ahead of Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan's visit.
Addressing a rally near St. Anna Church on Sunday, the cleric unveiled plans to march to the law enforcement agency on Monday morning.
“We’re gathering outside Holy Cross Church in Arabkir at 10 a.m. for a march to the Investigative Committee which is in close proximity to the area,” he told supporters.
Archbishop Bagrat is leading the push to oust Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and to halt his government’s unilateral territorial concessions to Azerbaijan.
