Heavy rain hits Armenia's Sevanavank
An active cyclone from the Black Sea region has made landfall in Armenia, bringing rain and thunderstorms to most parts of the country.
Downpours and hail are expected in some areas.
Heavy downpour was reported in Sevanavank on the northwestern coast of Lake Sevan in Armenia's Gegharkunik Province, as well as on the Yerevan-Sevan highway on Saturday afternoon.
The Ministry of Environment warned earlier on Saturday that heavy rainfall could cause rivers to overflow.
