Armenia's NSS urges protesters to uphold rule of law
Armenia’s National Security Service (NSS) urges supporters of the Tavush for the Homeland protest movement to uphold the rule of law and refrain from violations.
Led by Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, they remained camped out near the Armenian parliament on Baghramyan Avenue on Wednesday in an effort to force an emergency parliament session on the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his cabinet.
“In accordance with the mission of the National Security Service to protect the constitutional order from any encroachments, we reiterate that any unlawful action will be stopped with the use of all legal tools,” the NSS said in a statement.
