LIVE: More people join protesters near Armenian parliament
More people on Wednesday joined the protesters camped out near the Armenian parliament on Baghramyan Avenue, heeding a call from Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan.
They set up a tent camp there early on Monday to force an emergency parliament session on the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his cabinet.
The parliament leadership has rejected the initiative, insisting that Pashinyan and his political team still enjoy popular support.
The archbishop urged all to gather near the parliament building for a "decisive rally" later on Wednesday when a Q&A session begins with the government in attendance of Pashinyan.
