98 injured in clashes between police, protesters in Yerevan
Riot police fired stun grenades outside the Armenian parliament on Wednesday as they clashed with protesters demanding Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s resignation.
The Armenian Health Ministry said on Thursday that the number of people who sought medical care after the clashes rose to 98.
"As a result of the events that took place on Baghramyan Avenue, 98 civilians and police officers sought medical assistance," the ministry said in a press release.
66 of them were discharged, while 32 others continue to receive treatment for minor and moderate injuries.
