Armenian government approves €15 million EU aid for Artsakh refugees
The Armenian government on Thursday approved an agreement on €15 million assistance from the European Union to respond to the needs of refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh).
“This program aims to build up Armenia's social and economic resilience, addressing the short-term, mid-term and long-term needs of the forcibly displaced people from Nagorno-Karabakh,” Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan told a cabinet meeting.
He revealed that the funds would be used to pay the housing rents and utility bills of the Artsakh Armenians.
