Lawyer slams 'illegal' seizure of Artsakh president's state car
Lawyer Roman Yeritsyan denounced the “illegal” seizure of the Artsakh president’s official car during a raid on Friday.
Special forces of Armenia’s police and National Security Service on Friday breached the gates of the Artsakh representative office in Yerevan and confiscated the vehicle without a court warrant.
"The seizure of the official car and the use of brute force will be challenged in court,” Yeritsyan said outside the representative office.
“All this should be made public so that everyone knows how the Artsakh people are treated," the lawyer noted, adding the incident confirms pressure on the Artsakh Armenians alleged by former Ombudspersons Arman Tatoyan and Gegham Stepanyan.
