EU envoy welcomes Armenia's proposal for mechanism to address ceasefire violations
Toivo Klaar, EU's Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia, welcomed Armenia’s proposal to establish a bilateral mechanism to address ceasefire violations on the border with Azerbaijan.
"The proposal of Armenia to establish a bilateral mechanism to address alleged ceasefire violations on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border to reduce tensions is to be welcomed. The EU has for 15 years through the EU Monitoring Mission in Georgia helped organise similar meetings in Georgia and is ready to share its experiences," he posted on X on Sunday.
