Armenians bid a final farewell to actress Lala Mnatsakanyan
Armenians bid a final farewell to famous actress Lala Mnatsakanyan on Monday.
Applause broke out as her casket was carried outside St. John the Baptist Church in Yerevan’s Kond neighborhood where a large group of people, including her fellow actors and intellectuals, gathered.
The actress will be laid to rest at the Zeytun cemetery.
Mnatsakanyan held the title of honored artist and was a professor at the Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinematography.
The actress passed away on 22 June at the age of 66.
