Armenian chess players lead European Championship
The 4th round of the European Youth U18 Team Championship was held in Rhodes, Greece, on Monday.
The Armenian chess players beat with a score of 2.5-1.5 the Israeli team, which is the highest ranked team in the championship, the Armenian Chess Federation reported.
In the 4th round, GM Emin Ohanyan and FM Robert Piliposyan won their games.
After this important victory, the Armenin team is the sole leader of the championship.
In the 5th round, the Armenian chess players will compete with the Polish team.
