Vigen Kocharyan dismissed as SJC member
Vigen Kocharyan was dismissed as a member of Armenia’s Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) following the expiration of his term in office, the judicial authorities reported on Tuesday.
“Remarkably, Vigen Kocharyan is the only SJC member to have served his entire five-year term of office,” the authorities said in a statement.
“We’d like to express gratitude to Mr. Kocharyan for his conscientious and compassionate work, as well as for his great input into the judicial system,” the statement added.
